PMag problem with S&W M&P AR-15

What brand lower do you have? It is the S&W M&P that has probs with the PMags.

Sabre Defence and LMT.

What is S&W doing differently than everybody else?

ETA: My response you quoted was in response to Todd@CIS regarding the failure to lock back the BCG. I thought your subsequent post was referring to the same thing. I now see you are still talking about the problem in your original post. That is a known issue with early S&W receivers.

Is this an empty or full mag?

When firing, on the last round the bolt should lock back.

In my experience, PMags fail to do this too often. This has occured in my personal RRA and my issued Bushmaster.

I have never had this happen with USGI mags (even those that have MagPul followers).

I want to love PMags. I think they're stronger and easier to clean than USGI. I just wish MagPul would solve this problem.

Many people love them and have had no issues...I have.
