Saw A Sign for New Gun Store?

Saw that the Outpost gas station- resteraunt-Elvis crap store was becoming a Gun Ammo and gear store. This place is off exit 89 I-24 towards Chatt. The billboards say coming soon. Just curious. I stop across the street for gas sometimes. Guess I'll have to check it out. I guess truckers need fuel, coffee, and ammo!

I stopped in there on Friday. The billboards didn't say "Coming Soon" at that time. They were in the process of getting everything together.

The store owners said that the billboard company jumped the gun (no pun intended), and they should be up and running between January 21st-27th.

And BTW, I'm a trucker who doesn't need coffee.

I heard that. Mama let me retire from the truck driving game. It only took 15 years. I'll have to stop in there some time and check it out. I come up to H'ville every other weekend. I grew up that way.

It doesn't look like it's going to be a very big place. The are using one section that was used for candy/snacks/chips/etc.

It looked like they had 5-8(?) display cases for guns and such. I am always in that area on Friday's, so I plan on checking it out as soon as I get a chance.

FWIW... I believe that The Outpost restaurant is owned by none other than Mrs. Barrett, wife of Ronnie Barrett. If they are in any way connected to the gun shop... it's going to kick all sorts of ass.

Went by today and they will be open tomorrow for business. Had a wall full of AR's and AK's from what I could see from the front. They had a few pallets of ammo out front and he said he had a ton more that will be in the store. I'm gonna have to go back and see what all he has Fri when I'm by there.
