Stopped by the mailbox after work and my HCP was there!!! 26 days after fingerprinting!!!! Wally World, here I come....

How do you like the PF-9? I'm trying to decide between a P-11 or PF-9. Leaning a little toward the P-11 because of capacity. Checking on line Kel-tec site but couldn't find trigger weight on PF-9. Is it about the same as the P-11? I'm wanting a second pocket pistol. I have a S&W 638 already and would like a 9 to keep my ammo needs down to 2 caliber. Also, I think you probably love your XD 9 service as much as I do mine. I have a Pre 36 S&W .38 but it is pretty much a take it out and show it off every once in a while gun.

I like the PF-9 a lot. The 9 is smaller than the 11, I can live with the 7 + 1 capacity, just pick up an extra mag from CCA and you will be good to go. Put about 50 rounds thru it to date. Mostly got this one for small carry. Watch the +P, it makes a really big bang and hurt my hand!! And yes, I do love my XD-9 as does anyone I give the privilage of shooting it. Had to get it back from little sis today, she used it for her HCP class this weekend. She loved it also, and she shoots it better than her 38 spl. BTW, anyone interested in a Rossi 38 spl, stainless?? She wants to sell or trade for semi-, preferably 9mm. I'll probably put it on classified later this month. Thanks for the congrats!!!

Congrats on your carry license! I hope mine comes that quickly :) And our local stores have been out of .45 and .380 ammo for the last week and a half. Next time I find it I'm gonna have to buy more than one box.

Checking KT's site the PF9 appeared to be thinner, but otherwise was more or less the same size.

Well I sure hope your "HCP Badge" arrives soon also. Thats important.:wall:

you mean they actually make those??? How cool is that??? Is that part of the money I paid to the state when making application for my permit? How long after I receive my HCP will that arrive? I guess I will be entitled to special discounts at donut shops and convenience stores too, aye? Man, is this a great country or what....

(I do make the above statement tongue in cheek - please don't even think for one minute the fatboy is going to even consider that nonsense!!!!)
