NFA questions

I have purchased a suppressed 22 rifle and have sent in the required paper work, now in for the waiting period but was wondering if their is some way to check the progress of paperwork or do you just play the waiting game?

Give it at least 60 days then call the NFA branch at (304)616-4500. Or your dealer can call for you. You will need your serial number of the nfa item also. Things are running at least 90 days.

Dont drive yourself (and them) nuts by calling about it too much. Its gonna take as long as it takes, and they are NOT in any hurry - my first silencer purchased in 12-07, paperwork submitted 01-08, pending 04-08, approved 06-08.

Currently waiting on 2 tax stamps (MG and silencer) so I feel your pain...
