Not the best quality. Local antique show. The octagon barrels looked pretty cool and solid compared to modern.

I watched this the other day. Pretty amazing how they built those old guns.

It was pretty amazing how they bore out the barrel then rifle it.

Museum of the Appalachian in Norris Tn had the tools used to rifle the barrels. Been 20 years since I have been there.

Museum of Appalachia is a really cool place.   Go to Colonial Williamsburg and you can watch people make guns that way, it's fascinating. If I was financially independent, I'd go apprentice there.

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congress men lined up waiting for a free haircut.
