Russian soldiers with Arisaka rifles, WWI.

I bet a good Meme could be made from this by some one with a good imagination.

I can't think of a meme but, wondered why they were armed with Arisakas

Assuming these are German soldiers the different handguns are interesting.

Even if it’s fake, the Germans used any and all weapons the got a hold of.  They basically overran all the gun factories in Europe and turned manufacturing to their own use.  Think FN in Belgium (Hi-Powers) and the Polish Radom 9mm that might be in his right hand.

I'm guessing it is shoot what you can get. Must be fun keeping them fed with the proper ammo.

I heard a story years ago that Annie Oakley used wax bullets with shotgun shot mixed in the wax when she did shots in arenas and other public places. It gave her a better chance of hitting her target and stray bullets were not a problem. I wonder if that was what the rodeo parade shooter was doing.

The guy on the left appears to be Gary Merrill. Probably in a guest star role.

Then of course you have Clint Eastwood and Eric Flemming.

Its from the TV show Rawhide. 😃

University of Missouri Rifle team. 1968. I wonder if she is still shooting in her 70s now.

Looks like the rifles we used in the late 80’s when I shot on the BGA rifle team. They were old and supplied by Vanderbilt. They are fun to shoot.

Is this a real pic of photo chopped? Just how much does a Mule deer weigh?

Possibly a Winchester 52. Shot them a bit in 66 and 67 but much preferred the Remington 40X.

Old photo, I didn't crop anything but it was already scanned when I found it. Looks like a strong woman.
