Was in the process of posting this last night when everything hung. Glad everything is back and running, not sure if it was me or TGO.

I wonder if the George Washington University in Washington DC still has a woman's rifle team.

I did a quick search, not likely.

Think about this... I bet if that kid could magically sell that AK in the US to someone. he could live off the money for a good long while in his country. Just the oddities of different situations.

Just like I read about some some guys buying up pistols off the street a decade or so ago and driving them to South America. There they traded them for AKMs to bring back. Only big shots have had pistols down there, but everyone had AKs. So they traded away a hot pistol that was not traceable there for an AK that could not be tracked when they got back here. Then they sell the full auto AKs back here for A LOT more than the POS pistol they traded.

Always loved the Wanted Dead or Alive Mares Leg lever. Had a small version cap gun as a kid and now have a .22 version. Decided not to get a centerfire version just because I knew it would be a novelty plinker and I would not shoot it a lot if the ammo was expensive. Fun trying the hip firing.

Not sure what Frank is doing with Steve McQueen.

Neat that you could buy Marlin rifles from the Sears catalog, how times have changed, now there is no Sears. 🤣

As long as we are a Jeep run, not any real guns but a load of mortars.

Looks as though the driver had a tense moment.

Even in the 1898 Sears catalog Colt pistols were the most expensive offering.  😀

Lowest I remember first hand is $78 for an Enfield, but yeah everything just goes higher every year. There are no more shipping containers full of crates of cheap milsurps flooding into ports.
