I am totally perplexed as to why that design never gained any traction!  🤨

Good point. Denuded round or not, you could spray a target with enough rounds, it would most certainly ruin the day, stop whatever action was taking place and head to cover.

Be good in a civilian situation, not so much military. Prolly why it never went anywhere... But think of the squirrels you could bring home!

I was being totally sarcastic based solely on eye appeal. After reading what little is known about the design it does make one wonder. I mean with sustained fire and high cyclic rate designed to work best with no lubricants is somewhat unbelievable if true. Beside the $10 Million demand  I’m guessing the American 180 had already found its way into acceptance as to what this design could  do even in overwhelming  excess of the 180.

At todays price for .22 it would cost $150-300+ per minute to fire in full auto but it would be fun.

Nice silver painted Thompson machine gun

What Thompson? All I see is leg and shapely thigh! With a vague hint of no underwear.

There is something else in the photo besides the gun?

Once I actually looked at the gun, I realized that its not real. That's a Mattel Tommy Gun toy! 😵

Maybe she means to get the bad guys with those killer legs. 😉
