Never know when you may need more fire power when out for a bike ride.

Rare photo of a rare plane. Convair YB-60. They completed 1 prototype and were almost done with the 2nd when the program (and both airframes) was scrapped in favor of the Boeing YB-52.

Not sure about this one, it may be a reenactment or staged current photo. Looks too clean for just a colorized black & white photo.

It is either an artillery Luger or a Navy Luger with the stock. Probably an Artillery Luger  with the 7.9” barrel as the barrel looks longer than the 5.9” Navy Luger

It’s a Luger with the stock attached.

So these arm braces the ATF wants to outlaw are old news? Pshaw!

I sent this photo to a friend that does WW-2 reenactments on the German side. Did get a definitive answer but here is his response.

"My first guess is it's a reenactor, but he's looking very authentic
as a Soldat of the Gross Deutschland division.  In real life he would
likely would have been photographed with his ammo carrier assistants with
him as that MG 42 runs at 20 bullets a second everytime he pulls the
trigger.  If it's a real photo, it was taken some time after 1943."

They look Russian to me. Either way, no limits back then.
