No kidding. That just screams shoot me!  I bet it was loud when it got hit.

You would hear bells for weeks after getting out.

Wonder if anyone ever thought of firing a grappling hook from a rifle mounted grenade launcher and just dragging the wire back to be removed or at an angle to the side until it breaks?

To make a sand cloud to hide in? Trying to make a turn would be fun at any speed, that fan would push you over. I guess that is why the idea did not make it past WW1.

Here is a Vespa scooter outfitted with artillery.  I propose this as a modern day solution for slow drivers in the fast lane.

Alway thought it would be fun to own one of these. I got to ride in one a couple of time at a Christmas tree farm. They would take you out to the back 40 and drop you off to cut your tree down, then haul it back on a sled behind the Weasel while you road.

To more high caliber photos.

Any captions for this one?

Below is a Stinger Machine Gun.  What makes this cool is that WW2 Marines developed it in the filed on the pacific front.  This bad boy  clocks in at 1200 rounds per minute and was needed as they invaded islands.

They made it by taking a version of the Browning Model 1919 that shot 1200 rpm, attached an M1 Carbine stock, a trigger and a modified box full of 30-06 ammo.

Cool. All "necessity is the mother" and all that...

Yeah, one thing I forgot to mention.  The Model 1919 they used was being used as a defensive weapon in Bombers.  A lot of them broke down, so they took the 1919 out of scrap planes.
