Interstate hotel, but victim a local, all in parking lot.  That's likely a just same old story type deal, drugs, money, woman, grudge, whatever.

Any large city, "East" area, not a place to be.

Stuff like that happens daily in Nashville, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Gallatin has been in the news more in the last year than it was in the 1st 16 years I lived here for violent crimes. I agree OS, anyone one of those things could be a motive for a crime but recently in Nashville it is 14 and 15 year old kids killing each other so I am figuring gang related but could be wrong. Just know I don't walk to my mail box any more with out a gun...............JMHO

A few years back, I went to Nashville to purchase a rifle or two. Tried to find someone to ride "shotgun", as much literally as figuratively. In East Nashville. Got near the place there were young folks wrestling, in the middle of the road.

I'm surprised they were wrestling and not shooting each other. It seems that punch things out are just not the way to do things for young people any more......JMHO

Ehh, at least they were outside getting some fresh air and exercise instead of being glued to videos online.

My friends and I used to mimick pro wrestlers in the local parks, and once in a while we got into some friendly matches to see who was actually stronger when we weren't acting around.  So maybe they were just messing around.

Oh my, Gramps! Did you have your extra dose of Geritol before you came, in case you ran up some children playing? Last week I ran up on 2 little East Nashville hood rats playing soccer in the street! Could. Not. Believe. It.

Here's some pics of the kids I've  personally witnessed playing in the street here. Do any of these perps look familiar?

Nah, your pics don't have the low riding pants. And the hats are being worn correctly.
