  1. 1. Should we go back to using forums and ditch the Classifieids?

    • Go back to using forums and threads.
    • Stick with the Classifieds.

I vote for the old system as well.

Good you feel that way, since it's already been changed back. :)

You could look at it from the perspective of only 29 of you cared enough about the issue.

I think that's a valid statement. Personally I'm apathetic. I'm not actively searching for anything, and most items are further away from me than is cost effective to pursue. My take on this is to make it easy on yourself.

I'm gearing up for a big TGO yard sale. The easier, the better.

More of a "Phoenix from the ashes" type situation.  ;)

Here's an interesting development:

I noticed two days ago on the IPBoard support forum that the 3rd Party author of the Classifieds software has transferred it to another 3rd Party author and will no longer be updating it himself.  He stated that due to a new job and other obligations, he no longer has the time to develop it or support it and hopes that this new guy will better be able to keep on top of things.

I know you all feel that we made the right decision, and I already felt that we made the right decision because it simplified my own life a lot by not having to worry about a 3rd Party application not sending email properly, but now we all know that we made the right decision.  This certainly explains some things!

Now that we have switched back I am getting to many notifications.  Can we do something about that.  :hiding:  :D

I was as well but had to go in and update my feed and notification settings and that fixed it.
