Hello all,

I just found your forum today and since I am a pretty new handgun owner I think it will be a great resource for more localized info than some of the other forums can provide.

Hopefully I can contribute some as well but I'm looking forward to learning a lot...glad to be here!

Hehe, hey all and thanks for the welcome :D

The name (FortyFive2Life) was just something to use as a forum name, since I bought my PT145 for my CCW :)

The High Point I picked up this week for $99 so my wife could learn to shoot. Funny thing is we went to the range, and she much prefers my .45 ! So I'm looking to upgrade for her, we might get her a 9mm instead. She'd like to have one for the house but isn't really interested in getting a CCW license for now.

Anyway, glad to meet you all!

Thanks Boomhower. I wish Coal Creek Armory was a bit closer to me, I thought they had fair range prices the time I visited.

That is a TRUE fact! My wife shot my P220R Carry once, and put down her Taurus .38 spl for good....... She looked at me and said "SWEET, it doesnt have as much recoil as my Taurus!"

I have to hide it from her now!!!! :stunned:
