Glock 20sf

Ill start off with saying im not a huge fan of glocks but i recently picked up a 2nd hand unfired gen 3 glock 20sf... bc lets face it its a 10mm at a reasonable price point... i havent wasted any time with the pud load 10mm. I went straight for a pile of underwood 200 gr pills claiming 1250 fps... long story but on to my question. Is a higher poundage recoil spring worth it / needed... went to indoor range bc of rain and it was throwing brass almost straight up landing 3 to 4 lanes over the high dividers and on top of another shooter lol

I looked at the wolff springs... im concerned about the gun beating itself into hammered #### more than anything else and just dunno how to figure out what is the right poundage... if i buy a few spring rates what would i be looking for to know its optimal for that load? Ejection pattern???? Dealt with a lot of firearms but never felt a need to tune a recoil spring before

I am a 10 mm  fanatic! It's my very favorite caliber! Yes I have a few 10s. I order 20 lb and 22 lb recoil springs and I do like a metal guide rod. I even think I have a 20 with a 9" barrel! It's a telephone Glock. It'll reach out and touch! Ok that was corny....

20 lb for normal 10 loading and 22 for NUCLEARloads.

more I would start 2 pounds over then add a couple more with one at 4 pounds and 6 pounds over stock.

They should have the standard/OEM rate posted.

Ok but how do i know when its right? Feel? Ejection pattern? go to too much and back it off? The underwood 200 gr is as high as ill go but it will prob get a steady diet of that...  I am thinking thats nuclear but not sure what wizardry handloads people are playing with
