Who speaks Italian?

Recommended Posts

I am needing someone who can speak Italian for me.

I already have someone who speaks Sicilian but there is a lot being lost because of the difference in dialects.

It is regarding technical matters and translators do not do well translating sometimes.

Thank you

Ha! It reflects in their food too! Sicilian food is heartier than the norths.

Sorry I can't help you, my parents refused to teach us Italian so we'd acclimate.

A lost art, becoming American. My grandparents had the same attitude. Today's immigrants need a dose of this common sense.

I work on equipment from the EU, words are one thing, you should see the wiring diagram!

Ya know if you pilot a commercial plane you have to speak English all over the world.

Sorry to stomp on your thread Dolomite!

my family came from the Abruzzese region and I grew up on homemade food, it was of course fantastic. When I was over there I tried the gnocchi, my favorite pastas and had it in Sicily as well as Venice. Drastic difference in preparation and taste. The south seems to have hardier foods while the north seems to have more of a refined touch, something you'd see in a cooking show.

Dolo, hope you find help!

Ciao
