GO PREDS!

So...if the manager and the team can't touch the trophy...who gets to move it off the ice? Aren't superstitions a strange thing?

But anyway, as a recent follower of Preds hockey, I must say it has been quite a ride to this game. These guys sure seem to have it together and are beating all the players and teams who keep saying that Nashville hockey and its fans just don't have what it takes to be in the NHL, lol

I think last night put that to rest. My congratulations to the entire team and management staff of the Nashville Predators for a fantastic season.

Now go and get the next one taken care of and bring the Stanley Cup down South!

I was in Canada last week and everyone wanted to talk about the Preds.  Everyone was impressed with how Nashville fills an arena.

Last night at the buzzer, you could hear the celebrations downtown from my backyard in Brentwood.

Back when I was a kid growing up in West Chicago I was a Black Hawk fan but lost interest in Hockey when we moved south since Hockey back then was considered a cold weather sport so most teams were in colder climates. When the Preds first came to Nashville I was a little shy about whether they would last or not but they have hung tough and put all my doubts to rest over tha past few years and I was actually thrilled when they kicked to Dookie out of my old Hawks and moved on. I hope they bring the Cup to Tennessee for sure............

Sort of thinking a loss is necessary, don't want the tickets getting too expensive next year :)

How about that catfish deal? Guy from Tennessee threw a catfish out on the ice and they are going to file a bunch of charges against him.................

I heard that on the way home and just had to shake my head.  What a pathetic exisistence some must have to live such a miserable life as displayed by these petty charges:

Police in the Steel City said Waddell was escorted immediately from the arena and charged with disorderly conduct, disrupting a meeting and possession of an instrument of crime.

Really?  For tossing a catfish?

Yea and they are trying to figure out more charges to apply to him. Lawyers in Nashville have already stepped up and volunteered to represent him for free and one of the restaurants here in Nashville has offered to pay all his fines. It was funny when a person from the TBI said they have heard of about every other weapon ever used but this is the first time a catfish was called a weapon...........ROFLMAO

What's worse is I heard they didn't even charge the Nashville hero until today.  He was just ejected from the game and sent on his way.

Go Preds and their funky catfish throwing fans!

Maybe those uptight yankees could learn how to make a philly cheese-catfish sammich.  :P

You know some restaurants will have instrument of crime fillet dinners when the Preds play at home.

If you listen to Midday 180 on the Zone they spoke with Jacob yesterday. He owned it and knew he was getting thrown out, the interview was really good. All of his fines are covered and I'm pretty sure Clay Travis is going to defend him Pro Bono if he wants him to. I hope that somehow he can stream that court hearing live if Clay defends him, should be a good show.

I have no clue what NHL rules are and I could google them but if it is permissible I would sure incorporate a catfish into the team jerseys or a sticker on the helmet would be awesome!
