I probably jumped the gun and got the lowest level NRA carry guard package.  Probably will drop and get the USCCA instead.  B

I went with Armed Citizens Legal Defense Net (360-978-5200 Office #) and I do have a 24 hr per day emergency number. My wife and I are both covered and it is 155.00 per year with individual being less than 100.00 I believe. They are located on west coast time and you can call and they will answer.

My opinion is they are the best. It is a network of like minded concealed carriers, and they cover all the bases surrounding a legal self defense situation plus bail money,  plus protection in civil cases also. Call them and discuss their platform if you are interested. I have been a member for years.

I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect either one of those policies to cover you in a shooting. Too many possible scenarios they could use for an out. I don’t know for sure, but I doubt there is any insurance company on earth that would cover you if you are charged with a criminal act.

Save your money in case you should need a lawyer, or use it to be trained and understand the law so the chances would be greatly reduced you will need a lawyer.

How many of you have a phone number you can call day or night and get a response from your attorney in a timely manner? That should be your first goal and it shouldn’t cost you.

I haven't had any experience with USCCA but my experience with NRA Accident Insurance was not good.  They paid for less than 15 days out of over 60 covered days.
