Okay, this may be pretty dumb, but can anyone think of a good use for spent primers? I have 2 large coffee cans full of spent primers. Don't ask why i saved them, I'm real bad about keeping stuff. I thought about loading them in 12g shotgun shells:dunno:

Ideas?

Load em up under a half charge? 15gr of herco has worked well for me in the past, when I couldn't afford shot and wanted to shoot.

Coffee table art deco. Fill a fishbowl with them instead of colored stones or whatever. Decorate a picture frame, glue them on. Garage floor traction, sprinkle on right after the paint is rolled.

Spent primers are brass, and can be recycled. I mix them in with my trash brass cases and when the price of brass gets high enough I cash them in. Got $1.80 a pound last time, but brass is down to about .25 cents now.

Yeah, I been waiting on it to go back up. If it ever gets back up I have 2 five gallon buckets of scrap brass that need to go. These primers are pretty heavy, maybe i'll just let em go too.

What don't you start reloading them? :)

Reloading primers? Well I'm all out of impact sensitive explosive material right now. Do you have an expedient way of doing it?:tough:
