IDPA "Manchester" 4/22 MTSC

This month and from now on we will be doing IDPA on the 4th Saturday. Rain or shine but more rain then shine this weekend

Start times well be earlier now with a 10:30 start, so please get there before 9:45, on Saturday!

This is an IDPA event so concealment is needed. New shooters (to the sport) do not apply on concealment. You'll need 3 magazines (2 will work), and some good holsters.

Sorry folks I cancelled the wrong post this morning. We're going to start using Facebook more now, TGO isn't getting much play anymore. I just don't check TGO that much but if you need to contact me just shoot me a PM. Hope I didn't inconvenience to many this morning.

Set up for Bay 3 would have been a real challenge..., I mean no painting fault lines this time. 

Also having to wear fishing waders would have slowed down the fast guys!

I was about to depart when Jcoop posted that the match was canceled.  I figured that since I was already loaded up I might as well head to the range anyway.

Wouldn't you know it..., the rain stopped and the sun popped out.

I like the fact that you moved to Saturday but did you have to pick the fourth Saturday?!?   The fourth and fifth Saturday is Green River Gun Club in Bowling Green!!!!  The second Saturday is wide open until Gallatin Gun Club finds a new home & the first Saturday is Music City.  You couldn't have picked one of those Saturdays?  Come on Coop!

I sort of understand your concern John, but the two ranges are 130 miles apart! Just say'n.  

I actually planned on doing the Bowling Green bug match ... but then the monsoon came.

Which was perfect for me since I'm sort of halfway between both. 

Saturday I could shoot bad at GRGC...., then travel to Manchester on Sunday and do even worst shooting with the MTSC folks!

130 miles apart, and I'm just about smack in between Manchester and Green River, so that makes them both about an hours drive, which I'll do for a local match. I'll even drive the 80 miles to Music city on occasion (not lately though).  I'm just being selfish. With Gallatin gone, Manchester and Green river are my only local IDPA options.

Too bad you missed the BUG match.  The rain stopped before set-up and didn't start up again till we were done. Lot's of strong hand and weak hand strings, and lots of dead no-shoots.
