Rowland. There's an accusation she no longer lives in the district since her divorce, but now lives with her boyfriend Ronnie Barrett. Naifeh is trying to find excuse to keep from seating her.

I missed the repub who voted for the recess. Could be a mistake, tabling motions are confusing, or it could have been on purpose. Not sure which at this moment.

Thanks for the info on Rowland. From what they said, they are supposed to proceed and let her sit until something is decided, but if she is removed, would that remove her vote for speaker or any other subsequent votes?

Got to really love how political districts are drawn. Map of the 34th Rep district in TN.

On the recess vote it didn't show a breakdown my member, could be right about confusion. If so hope they aren't confused on the next vote.....

I'm really kind of torn on this. On the one hand, I do think that there should be a fair election on the issue, and that Odom's nomination should go forward. On the other hand... obviously I really don't want Darth Naifeh in that seat tomorrow...
