Gunsmith in around Knoxville

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hello,

Im currently restoring  a 1939 M39 Nagant, that I want to convert into a range gun and a hunter.   I have 2 already in my collection that are stock.  This one I am wanting to go a different direction on.

The gunsmith will need to be able to cut and crown the barrel for me, I will also want it threaded in case I want to add a muzzle break down the road.   I will also want them to install a new trigger system for me.  The trigger is the timney drop in and I could do it myself, but I figured while they are doing the rest why not have a pro do it.   After the smithing is done, I want to have the bolt, safety pull knob, and barrel coated in cerakote.   Yall have any recommendations for me?

Mike at Law Enforcement Sales is great, and a member on here. @LawEnforcementSalesTN

Great Ill give him a shout.   The gunsmith I used to use has closed up shop, and disappeared.   He had a FFL transfer pistol I bought from buds there, and I hadnt picked it up they say he never sent it back, and his numbers are disconnected.

Get Mike to see if he can flush it out, he's a LEO too. :)

Just another vote for Mike at Law Enforcement Sales.

I just met Mike last week at his shop where I dropped off a couple of Smith revolvers for some work... it appears I already knew him from His "other" job LOL.

Great guy and what an awesome shop!

Mike should be able to get that Nagant set up just like you want it.

Another vote for Mike. He turned a barrel for me to take off some weight. You'd never know it did not come from the manufacturer like that.
