The Bill Goodmans Beef Jerky Antique/Curio show? The last couple I went to sucked so bad I think Ill wait & go to the RK show next weekend. They tend to be a little better.

I will be there at 9am ... I hope that the guy I saw last time with a M1A is there again. If he is I will come home with it.

The last one I went to was not great, not like the ones I remember when I was a kid. But my 11 year old daughter wants to check it out so I will check it out on Sunday. I am in the market for a 22 rifle that I can teach her to shoot with maybe a Ruger 10/22, but I'm not sure yet.

Well allow me to correct myself. My brother called & wants to go. Looks like due to him & the weather I'm headed that way later. I'll check back here for some updates later b4 I head out.

Just got back from the Fairgrounds. My impression? "Meh."

Not a lot of good deals in my opinion.

A short line waiting to get tickets and line waiting to get in the door. A whole lot of people there.

I picked up some Rainier 40 cal/180gr plated hollow points for a fair not great deal and a Don Hume belt.

Yeah, I did not see much either.

The show was good for the humorous effect. Like .40/per round for Wolf ammo, and $1400 for Doublestar AR's. Some of these people are smoking some serious crack.

I came home with an IBM M1 Carbine. Since I'm a computer guy by trade, it just fits. I've been looking for a nice one for some time now. Circumstances have always got in the way when I did find one.

I know, I know... where are the pictures? Give me some time, I just got home!

SAw a Ruger LCP there. It sold the guy paid a little over 500.00 OTD. CRAZINESS I tell ya.

Well, I went.

Not alot of good deals...but some if you studied long enough.

All prices are going up, though...we all know why.

The AR dealer I bought parts from was concerned about the taxation of ammo.

That's what's gonna kill the gun trade.

Glad I was not there... That is way way to high...

I was gonna buy an ati stock for a hi point 995. Not a bad price until I tried to pay with my debit card. He was gonna add $3 for using it. I changed my mind and just went ahead and left. I will definately say that it sucked...

I'm pretty sure I saw the same one. It had a price of $469 or some craziness. I didn't look too long at that price.

I've seen Glock prices go up from the last Goodman show (same dealer, same model of gun).

guys, you can't really complain about the prices and say these shows or whatever suck. well, i guess you can complain, but you shouldn't be surprised. it's called supply and demand. demand has gone through the roof (we all know why). i have been to several gun shops and shows since the election and they have been absolutely packed. demand goes up, supply goes down, price goes up. that is how it works.

I went with two other guys and we were there an hour and half. All of us left with new bangmakers. Deals can still be found there imo.

Not really complaining but on the particular gun I was talking about that is 200.00 over MSRP. I didnt buy it but someone did. I just thought is was crazy. There were a few good deals to be had I was joint pointing out some obvious gouging. There were a few smokin deals froms guys just walking around.
