Today, Amazon is discounting Merrells up to 40% off!

Merrell makes a great shoe, I used to get them with my work boot allowance up until my job position changed and I now have to get steel/composite toe. With all that being said, Merrell is the only brand of shoe that I've loved so much that I went the next year and purchased an exactly identical version of the shoe I purchased the year prior.

I'm now sporting a pair of Keen's but would have never left Merrell had my shoe requirements not changed.

Edit: Just a note that many of these prices seem very fair, I was accustomed to spending $100-$150 for the pair. The MOAB is probably what I would go for if I were shopping today.

Currently wearing Keens at work , how does the Keen sizing compare to Merrells ?  Keens run a little small to me.

Honestly, the Keens are a smaller size than what I had been wearing. I think I was buying half a size too large for Merrels. Had my foot properly sized and these fit great!

Point being, I'm not the best person to ask that to.

I wore out a pair of Moabs, what were awesome.  Bought an identical pair and they are awful.  I'm gun shy at this point towards Merrell.

I have three different sizes of Merrells, 11.5 12 and 13.

I have similar issue with keens , some models a 12 fits and others it is an 11 that fits.

Not an issue if I buy in a store but when ordering it is.

I have a pair of Danner boots on the way. It has been 20 years since I purchased Danner.

I've been a huge Merrell fan for years.  Bought my first pair of their hiking boots probably 25 years ago.

Have been through I don't know how many pairs of shoes from them over the years but I do know that the quality has been steadily declining.

Of all the pairs in my current rotation...4 or 5 I think, each have problems and are messing with my walk.

When it comes time to buy shoes I'll be overlooking Merrell.
