Does anyone know why there are no aftermarket Guide rods and Springs for the Springfield XD .45 with the 4" barrel?

Apparently not,

why do you ask? I've been researching XD problems and have not found any major complaints.

I've got a tactical and picked up a used, or should I say very used service model.   I have found that the recoil springs should be swapped out at 10k and wondered if the factory would take care of it if you send it in to be looked over. It shoots great though so I'm not worried about it.

Fantastic guns! Good luck with your search.

Have you tried Brownells?

Call Springer Precision about this and ask to talk to a tech about it. These guys know all the in's and out's of XD's

I think SA would cover it under warranty if you start to have issues with the gun.  I don't think they will cover it as a preventative maintenance item.
