So I'm starting my first totally custom AR build, need advice on this 0% lower . . . . .

So, a buddy of mine found a really good deal on a 0% AR lower, heat treated T6 aluminum receiver. He bought me one sight unseen because of the price.   Now I really need advice on where and how to start.

This is the link he gave me where he got it, but the dang firewall keeps blocking it . . . . .   I think it arrives next week . . . . .

Cerakote it black and it's a tactical brick. Worth 10x the price.

I hope you are getting an 80% lower. I have seen that before and thought that it was a joke. A 0% lower is just a chunk of aluminum. You will need a CNC mill and good CAM software to finish it or be very talented on a Bridgeport.

In line with all of ZoidMeister's other threads, my understanding is that this was and is, quite simply, a joke. My apologies if it was intended as serious.

I have a signature line on a couple other sites I haunt.  It basically says:

"If insanity were a disease, I would be terminal . . . . . "

I didn't see a place for a signature line on TGO . . . . . yet . . . . .

You can tell you are getting close to my neighborhood from the signs . . . . I live at the end of the road in the cul-de-sac . . . . .
