What should I get

Recommended Posts

Let me start off by saying, I have all the guns I need for hunting. I have all I need for Self Defense. This new purchase will be just for fun, and because I want these. In fact I want all of these, just don't know what to save for.

I am debating on whether to buy an AR-15, or a .357magnum and maybe a 1911 of some sort, and even a pocket gun.

I am leaning towards the AR-15, because of the change of power in DC, and the possiblty of not being able to purchase one on down the road.

Just me thinking outloud. Everything mentioned I want equally, not really one gun over any other.

Let me know what you guys would go for first, if you had the choice.

AR, but be ready for a wait.

Or, find an AK.

I vote AR as well, for all reasons stated. They are just COOL, plus they satisfy any deisre you may have that encompasses hunting (light to medium game), home-defense, and just plain plinking...

I enjoy shooting my Stag 2L complete rifle more than any gun I currently own!!!

Gotta go with the AR on this one!

Well, wheel guns will be the last to go. You can bet AR's will vanish long before a revolver. Considering that, I'd buy an AR.

Another vote for an AR, from a guy in the middle of building two. :P

wow....everyone seems to be on the same page.

I am going to look at a Smith and Wesson .357, I think he said a model 67, on Friday for around $300. I had asked this guy to keep his eye out for used .357mag, and let me know if he comes across any.....well when I went to talk to him today about ordering a Stag AR,he told me about this revolver, that a guy is bring in wanting to sell.

I don't think I can pass up this revolver, if it is in good shape, does anyone agree that this would be a good deal.

I might wind up just buying a lower, for now, and do my own build.....well me not knowing anything about building an AR-15, it won't be just my build. I bet a few of the members here that I have met wouldn't mind directing in the right path to assembly an AR. I know "paletiger" said he doesn't mind.....so........

AHHHHH....I hate making these kind of decisions. I wished I had enough money to buy it all at one time. Saving up for stuff sucks!!!!!

gsg-5pk. An absolute barrel of laughs to shoot, and a whole lot cheaper to buy .22's than .223's.
