Since Len origingally posted this last week, some GREAT door prizes have been added.

From http://www.nrahq.org/clubs/club_university/default.asp:

There will also be a chance to win two door prizes:

  1. Remington R-15 Rifle .223 Caliber Camo (value $1199.00). Donated by Joe Lundberg of Hero-Gear, LLC.
  2. A Fighting Rifle Course (2-day class) & Advanced Fighting Rifle Course (2-day class). Both of the courses include lodging and are valued at $400.00 each. Courses can be exchanged for other two-day classes. Donated by one of the owners, Tracy Hightower, of Tactical Response.

Anyone want to bet a steak dinner that the initial seating will go quick and the NRA will have to book a bigger room?

Just registered online. Took about 90 seconds. Looks to be an informative day. And a great deal --for 30 bucks you get breakfast, lunch, snacks, the NRA Range Sourcebook CD ($20 if you buy it from NRA) and entry into the door prizes contest. NRA only holds a few of these a year, and the only other two in 2009 are in NY and CA.

Less than 4 weeks out now. Registration is starting to nudge up. If you belong to a club, make sure some representatives of your club attend. We need to preserve and grow the shooting sports in TN, and gun clubs are on the front lines of that battle!
