Arkansas traffic stop report

While I love a good round of the "what if" game, doing anything except what an officer instructs you to do is, in general, a bad idea. I complied fully and had no problems other than having to roll down the passenger window so that I could reload my weapon with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. There was a pretty big and heated thread on what to do during a traffic stop. In light of that thread, I decided to post my experiences. :death:

Yea, I hear you. Asking the LEO to do the honors could easily find you handcuffed, up against the car, as he took control of your handgun.

I bet you were a wee bit nervous clearing a cocked and locked 1911 inside the car, assuming you holster it that way.

I doubt he'd be nervous touching his own weapon. I touch mine daily and I always know when it's gonna go off. :death:

Based on his comment, I'm going to guess that the entire female population feels the same way about "leaving that alone."

Hey now what's wrong with my comment? My wife has handled my weapon several times and there has never been an incident.

I'm sure alot of you handle your weapons and let other people handle them.

For a gun board you guys sure are strange about openly admitting touching your weapons. Geez...

Aren't you glad she's OK with the smaller calibers?

LOL Well it's never gone off accidentally is what I mean. You know, like, before it was supposed to :death:

I trust verification from the other participant is forthcoming?

this thread is now out of control. I suggest you boys/men put your different calibers away and quit talking about them. If anyone tells me yours has not accidentally gone off, I'll call you a liar!!

Well, let's see, where were we?

Something about if a spy satellite happened to see you unloading your pistol in the driver's seat while a cop is standing at the window and mistaking that for felonious intent and dispatching a sniper to put one in your noggin from the next overpass.

Hey man it's not the caliber, it's all about (get ready for it) shot placement. :D

OK, good point... but still, shot placement is a lot easier with a longer barrel, otherwise the recoil can be damn near uncontrollable. Y'all can pack your pocket pistols if you want... me, I'm sticking with my Kentucky Rifle.
