Picture Hosting

So I used to use photobucket but its so slow now that its impossible to use.  I started using picasaweb and really liked it and had good success with posting links to forums and such, but then Google Photos merged and now it seems impossible to get photos to post from Google Photos to this forum or any other for that matter.  Whats a better option.  I know here you can post pics directly, but it won't in private message and I need the option on my FJ forum too

I use Tapatalk to post pics, it does it inline and then if needed you can edit the message straight on the webpage.

Yeah I'm growing weary of tapatalk. I get constant notifications of stuff that is completely random. And with TGO new format it's seeming rather un-needed

Oh, I don't use tatatalk for anything else, just pics.  It has always been hard to navigate for me, specially since I messed up and added a few sites to it and it messes me up trying to figure which is which sometimes.

I just paid up and use SmugMug.  It works well for me and isn't super expensive.  It isn't the best interface ever, but I like that you can select from multiple sizes of the image to post based on what you are doing.  I loved Picasa until Google ruined it.

Another vote for SmugMug.  I've been using them for about 9 years now and can't imagine not using them.

Yep, same. For about same price as that basic Smug Mug thing you might as well get website space, blog platform, email accounts and whatever instead of just pix storage.

Initially maybe a smidgen of learning involved to get your files there, make links to them, whatever, but well worth it overall.

Imgur is the easiest and most straightforward method that I've found. Especially if for primarily mobile usage.

I also use SmugMug. In addition to relatively easy access, It's a great way to back-up all your photos and videos in the event your computer dies.
