I have friends from Wales, Prestatyn to be exact. Nerrys (aka Mum) went back to the UK to tend to her ailing mom. I have always enjoyed listing to Mum and Jacq (daughter) get into an argument when they reverted back to Welsh. I have picked up a bit of Asian languages (Tagalog, Malay, Thai, Korean, some Mandarin etc). Welsh is so foreign (no pun intended) and strange I never could pick up ore retain any Welsh, no matter how much wine we drank. LOL
