This just means they are running out of things to get people riled up, guns are always a failsafe story for them.  The media is running around flailing their arms right now because they have no clue what to do with Trump.  Hell, the HuffPo has resorted to publishing satire stories on their website.

By the end of Trump's term, I expect most of the liberal media to look exactly like Mad Magazine did back in the 80's.

I would assume the article was referencing 80% receivers.There is nowhere that I am aware of to buy a kit gun without needing to buy the receiver or lower from a FFL dealer or holder.Articles like this are completely slanted and omit a lot of the truths on purpose as to mislead the unknowing. I have almost quit reading any news considering I can't believe a thing I read.

If I am not mistaken this was a 'big' story like four years ago, to the point of one distributor actually marketing their lowers as "Ghost Guns" in response to the fracas. 

 

It sounds like someone rehashing the same news because it didn't get the desired response the first time. Or the second.
