3D Printing company

 I was curious if anyone knows anyone that has a 3d printing company that can print me a hand guard for a rifle. I have been looking around with not much luck here in Tullahoma. Wouldn't mind going towards the Boro. Someone would have to help me with the cad design as well. Which I assume they would need to see the rifle. I would'nt mind it in metal either just thought plastic would be easier. Any help greatly appreciated as always.

WOW no one I wouldn't mind it being made out of metal if I could find a machine shop that had the equipment to do it. Just no luck at all here.

You'd probably need to offer some more detail to get someone's interest.  Is this a new design?  Is it fabricating something for an older rifle that you can't find elsewhere?

We've got people who love cool projects - but stuff like this is often a lot more work than it may seem.

I just pinged one of my guys that uses our 3D printer a lot and is also a gun guy.  The thought intrigued him and he is going to look into it.

I will try and get a picture together. Its on an entry level 50 BMG I picked up. So it would be a one of a kind thing. A new design. More of a space filler and to make it look better.

We have the capability, but as Mac says, creating the model and printing it isn't a trivial amount of time. Depends on what you've got in mind, a concept pic would help a lot.

Thats why I wish I had someone close due to my lack of artistic ability lol. I have been drawing on a picture of the rifle trying to get the look I'm after. I'm trying to get one I can post up or PM to someone.

I want it to have the look of a M1918 Browning style with the sides opened up like a regular hand guard. It would have to be longer but that concept if that helps any

Found a place in Chattanooga no luck won't do gun parts of any kind go figure
