Multi Cal. AR Lowers

Quick question to the well informed:

Is there a legal issue w/ attaching an upper OTHER than a 5.56/.223 upper if your lower isn't marked Multi? Just wondering, as otherwise the "Multi" marking seems unnecessary.

I mainly think its a pluss if you SBR it. Because you have to list calibers. I was told you couldn't list multi unless it was listed that way from the factory.

Good to know!

I've been considering going 6.8 for my SPR-ish build, and might jump on a lower if I see the right one at the right price, just wanted to make sure I didn't HAVE to have one that said Multi.

As long as your not SBR'ing you can mount any cal upper that will fit you want.
