I recently picked this one up on a trade. A Beretta M9A1 Compact L Inox. Mods include full inox controls, Elite II hammer, oversized mag release, solid stainless guide rod, front sight was drilled & red fiber optic installed, Novak rear sight, X-grip adapter w/18+1 Mec-Gar mag, Elite II barrel crown, short reach trigger, & I had the barrel shortened to fit flush with the slide.

I just got one of these two days ago. Mine has the black controls. I plan to change a few things out, such as Wilson short trigger, skeleton hammer, and a few springs to start. I just got to shoot it today. Sort of made me want to throw my Glock 19 under a truck tire.

I'm glad you mentioned the X-grip. Where can I find those?

Very good looking shoot'n iron by the way.

Ebay & most gun shops sell them, but they run around $17 a piece. I bought two of the adapters from Cheaper Than Dirt last week. They were running a "$15 off any order" special the whole month of January so I ended up paying $13.00 including shipping for both of them. Be sure to check for sales before ordering. They run online coupons & promo codes all the time.

I forgot to mention that I have a Beretta brand SRT installed in my compact, but am thinking of getting a Taurus trigger. I had a stainless Taurus trigger in a 92FS Inox I used to own. Taurus triggers shorten the trigger length just as much as a Beretta or Wilson SRT, but are available in stainless to match the inox finish. The Taurus has more of a curved shape than Beretta's SRT, though.
