Gunsmith Needed in Nashville Area

Recommended Posts

Posted

I've been unable to remove the factory cage flash suppressor from my new DPMS LR-308 Oracle despite my best efforts. Anyone know a good gunsmith who is reasonable in the Nashville area who could do it for me? Since I'm going this route I'll probably also have them install a free float rail for me. Any recommendations and any idea how much this will cost me? Funds are kind of limited as I didn't expect to pay someone for this... Thanks!

Jeff Walle at Guns & Leather in Greenbrier. Always a pleasure to deal with. No idea on the cost.

Edit: Apparently some of the DPMS flash hiders are held on with Loctite. Hit it with a propane torch to see if that'll loosen it enough for you.
