I bought a camo soft side 20 a few months ago, and it is a great little cooler.  Keeps ice well for a soft side, and fits perfectly between the console and rear seat of my truck.  Highly recommend.

Bought a RTIC 65-quart roto-molded cooler for my son-in-law for his birthday in April.  Total price with free shipping was $139.99.

That's a steal. I got a 45qt a few months back for the same price. I think they finally got their supply chain issue worked out and increased their total volume, which has reduced their cost per unit. Prices have been falling nicely.

I have the Cabelas 40 and it is a great cooler. They have some nice features. I like the true handles on them.

Yeah 30 days isn't much, but my last igloo was bought in '98 and lasted until I dropped it full of beer last fall. It was $30 at wally world. If this one lasts another 18 years before destruction or theft I'll be ecstatic.

It isn't and am glad you pointed that out. I am wondering if people have been abusing the hell out of them and then asking for replacements.

That does explain them trying to get rid of current inventory at discount prices. Possibly also explains the 30 day warranty as well, since they will no longer be manufacturing these models. Originally the warranty was 7 years, but it's hard to provide parts for a cooler you can't manufacture anymore due to a legal ruling.

Well, my RTIC 20 arrived the other day.  It appears well-built.  Ordered it Sunday from Amazon where it cost $1 dollar more ($101.99) but I've been sitting on $65 of credit for over a year that I simply could not figure out how to use, so I used it.  Delivered Wednesday.
