Just got an email from Bill Goodmans show, that they are having a show at the Lebanon Expo Ctr. this weekend.  R.K. Shows are also having a show at the "Boro this weekend .

So much for scheduling..... not going to go well for either, I would expect.

Thoughts?

I haven't been to a Bill Goodman show in many years, and I was disappointed in the last one I went to in Lebanon. The 'boro and RK in general always has good shows tho. I'll probably end up going to the 'boro on Saturday.

Dang it.  You had me all excited for a show full of of O/Us and SxSs.

Exactly! I had visions of Holland and Hollands, Kreighoffs and Heyms dancing in my head.

I don't know why these two don't sit down over lunch one day and plan the gun show schedule for the whole year! It's like they want to make people choose which one they will support. I'd go to both if they were on weekends, 2 weeks apart.

Now, Will, are you saying this stuff is not wholesale as advertised?  LOL

Looks like Nashville Fair Grounds show is gone for good. Something Mayor Dean was not able to do.

Lebanon and Boro long drive from Clarksville

Update. Got an email from Goodmans show, admission has gone up from $8 to $10.  Parking is free tho.....is it worth the

extra $2?

Guess I'll go since it's only about 15 mi. from me, just out of curiosity, since it's in the new venue.

I print those out and give them to folks in line at the show. Once they threatened to ban me from the show when they saw me doing it.

LOL, that thought crossed my mind.........but it kept on going.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's annoyed by this. It also weakens both shows since the dealers can't cover both, or at least I don't know of any that do both if they're scheduled against each other. I've always liked the 'Boro show but the one in December wasn't very good.

Went to the Goodman show @ Lebanon this AM. A bit of an improvement over the fairgrds., Bought some 9mm bird shot.

Seemed to be not as much junk as before, but about the same overall size. Much cleaner & neater, more wiggle room ( but I got there @ opening ). Decided not to go on to the 'Boro. had enough for one day. Got to fondle a few guns I was interested in, so not a bad trip for me, YMMV.

I thought the Murfreesboro show was the worst in years. Huge areas in the building with no tables. The usual big dealer was  there. Not much reloading stuff. Plenty of beef jerky, pork rinds and junk knives.

I was also disappointed in the RK show in M'boro. Makes sense that it was so boring, half the vendors were 30 miles away at a competing gun show. You'd have to go to both to see a full show.

Stopped in the new Wilson CO Complex today, very nice, good food, show sucked. one of the vendors told me all 2017 shows there and in Boro are up

against each other. Stupid on both of them.

Man that's ridiculous! I was hoping it was only this one, which is why I didn't go at all. I generally always enjoy the Murfreesboro show but figured with the Lebanon show being this weekend that it would be better to skip. As said above you'd think they would talk about this, they're only hurting their own business this way.

I don't think Goodman show got to pick all the days that they wanted, A lot of dates were picked by other venues before the expo center was built.
