Petition- Repeal the NFA

Sorry if this a dupe but wanted to get this out there. It's a White House petition to repeal the NFA and this may be our best shot at it for years to come. Please sign.

Yeah, it's actually pathetic seeing as how it's been up since January 20 and most of the big YouTube gun channels have mentioned it

Since AFAIK none have ever changed a policy or law and just add you to de gummit's email list, I think folks just see them as a big meh anymore.

I agree for most part. Trump can't directly repeal it anyway as it's legislation passed by Congress and they'd have to pass a repeal bill. This is just a channel to get some form of word out, maybe get ball rolling a bit. Plus, a lot of gun owners might not even be familiar with the NFA in general, so doesn't get much attention.

My exact thoughts. The petitions were put in place as a "feel good" measure but not as a way to actually get anything done or accomplished.

If you can sign a petition that at best will be answered by a junior staffer...you can email your representative in Congress if they aren't listed as a co-sponsor of the HPA, and email our two Senators with the same inquiry while they're at it.

Well, the petition has crossed the threshold. Let's see if we get any traction towards repealing this sh*t law.
