In the 90's Knights Armament company had a small contract run with the government to produce a suppressed M9.  The gun featured a clip on suppressor for quick attachment and sights mounted on the can itself.  The gun also had a slide lock that prevented the slide from moving, effectively making it a single shot.  Its a really neat system.

Now, there are rumors that KAC will be re-releasing these this year.  They had a barrel and can setup on display at SHOT.

In addition, B&T looks to be releasing a VP9 this year.  Its a bolt action suppressed 9mm that they claim will be as quiet as 117dB with subsonic ammo.
