I went into my LGS and they have a PPS M2 with Ameriglo sights added to it for a decent price. I'm tempted to get it, but I kinda wanted another G43. Honestly can't make up my mind on it. I figured the trigger would be different than my PPQ but, it didn't seem to have the same quick reset that my PPQ has. I was hoping to have a similar trigger. Wanted my cake and be able to eat it.

I didn't know they made a better trigger for the PF9.  I still have it, so I'll have to look into that trigger. I replaced it with the G43 as my carry gun though...

Northwood trigger makes it into a different gun...you'll be pleasantly surprised. The G43 is a good gun, if a bit wider. But I'd never put a belt-clip on a Glock, like I did with the PF-9...DA vs striker-fired. Just my preference.

There are many pocket 9s that I found much more pleasant to shoot and carry than the PF9/11 series. I've owned a Shield since it was introduced and find it best for me

True enough. I've a lot of respect for the Shields. But they didn't exist when I purchased "Katie" and the price is/was more affordable.

I also got my PF9 when it was the only (affordable) small 9 available.

Upgrades = 4x the cost of the pistol price?

Lol! I checked Salients prices when they were new to the market. Their Tier 1 was around $2000-2500 plus base gun on Glocks. Not counting the RMR or weaponlight. So more like 10-15x the price.
