Tenneessee Friends of NRA Sets Records in 2008!

Tennessee Friends,

The NRA Foundation and I would like to thank you for a record setting year in Tennessee!! Your help, support, hard work, & dedication pushed Tennessee over the $200,000 mark in 2008 setting an all time state record in net revenue.Several events set committee records as well as all time state records! This could not have been possible without the great volunteers and the generous attendees & sponsors. We will have over $100,000 for grant funding available at the Tennessee FNRA State Fund Grant Meeting scheduled for February 28, 2009 in Nashville. Please help the Tennessee Friends of NRA and the NRA Foundation http://www.nrafoundation.org/default.asp take Tennessee to a new level in 2009. We already have several committees that have scheduled their event for 2009. Please see the dates below. We would like for these committees and other committees to go ahead and get their charter completed so I can post their event on the Tennessee Friends of NRA website http://www.friendsofnra.org/StateHome.aspx?sid=44&sc=TN and add news & information articles to their event posting.I would really like to see us get an early start for 2009. We are always looking for new volunteers to help with existing Friends of NRA events and well as new areas to have an event. Please contact me to volunteer for an event or schedule a new event. Since inception the Tennessee Friends of NRA has recommended 93% of all funding to youth shooting sports (our second amendment future). Again, thanks for all the hard work, help, support, and dedication!
