Anyone know when the new Henry single barrel shotguns will be on the local market?  If you have not seen one take a look at their website. Pretty cool.

Thanks. I guess I was hoping someone has actually talked to a local dealer to verify those dates.  Often, posted manufacturer ship dates are "optimistic".  And yes they are pricey, but nostalgia comes with a price I guess.  My 1st shotgun was a single barrel that I got back in the 60s,  I still have it.  We were poor and that was all my parents could afford to buy.

Yeah, there are millions of the old H&R Toppers and the like out there.  Look around and you can find one for less than $100.

I admire what Henry tries to do, but so far, every product they've offered has been lacking in some way for me. The closest they've come in building something that interests me is their take on the AR7...the Henry survival rifle. I really can'tsay I have a use for one of those either.

I don't know a thing about any Henry products.  I do know a couple of guys that love their lever rifles, but I have never owned or shot one.
