The following form is provided to members of TGO as a courtesy and is a recommended private party Bill of Sale for the transfer of firearms.  Please note the emphasis on the word recommended.  While this form certainly has benefits for both the buyer and the seller, there is no legal requirement for it to be used.   Arguments For: In the event that the firearm transferred to the buyer is eventually used in the commission of a crime, the seller has a record of having performed re
