I thought we came to a conclussion in another thread that loaded mags were okay as long as they were seperate from the rifle?

if mags are a no-no what about stripper clips?

there isnt a "law" about the loaded mags per say, but if the mags are ready to go in the glove box, and the gun is in the trunk, it only takes one motion to go armed...I wouldnt risk it personally....

not sure about stripper clips, but I guess my point was, make it hard to get the rifle ready to fire, if it is easy to do, you MIGHT be in trouble (depending on the LEO)

sounds like a big old gray area. Typical good for nothing feel good gun law.
