Coyote kills

I have deer hunted for over 30 years (most of those in LA and MS) and until 2 years ago, never saw a yote while deer hunting. This year, I shot one with my bow and another with my rifle. Have y'all shot many this year?

I recently had two does under my stand feeding and I saw this yote walk out 200 yards away, spot the deer and then charged them running wide open. He came flying by me and I did not have a good shot and he chased the deer off in a thicket. About 3 minutes later he messed up and walked back out on the edge of the field and the 7mm-08 barked. It was the first kill with a brand new rifle.

Not only do I kill, or try to kill every single one I see while hunting anything else, I actively hunt them. I'm new to the yote hunt scene, but I'm trying to learn fast. They are in a population explosion. I'm hunting with a call, attractor, and a scoped 44 mag marlin. I will drop them as fast as I can get a shot at them. They will destroy your quail, rabbit and deer population. I'm 63 years old. These varmints were not around 30-40 years ago. Now they are in our and YOUR neighborhood killing YOUR pets. I'm gonna kill the basturds anytime I see one.

Anxious to do some coyote hunting once deer season ends.  Haven't really noticed the deer population being down in my area but I have with the turkeys.

I've killed a few while deer hunting but, I've not tried calling them in years. A buddy of mine calls them and I need to try and get together with him sometime for a hunt.
