Hunter Apprentice License

I'm wanting to make sure I'm right on something. I'm wanting to help someone get their first deer. They bought their apprentice license this year. Looking back through the regs it states "all other applicable licenses are required". I'm assuming that means to hunt with a rifle that they need to buy a fishing/small game plus the big game gun license to be legal. This apprentice license is new to me so I thought they were good to go. I'd really hate for their first deer to not be legal so thought I'd ask here in case y'all have done it before. But I'm leaning towards thinking that they definitely need to buy the other two licenses.

Never mind, I found it. They do have to have the other licenses as well. Anyway, maybe this can help someone else who may be trying to help a new hunter.

It allows them to hunt without having taken the Hunter safety course. In this case the person I'm taking wants to hunt but wasn't able to get into a class soon enough so that's one reason for the apprentice license. Another reason I can imagine is for people who may want to try and see if hunting is something they want to do?  I guess I'll just be hunting and teaching tomorrow while they watch and learn instead of them being able to shoot their first deer. At least it will be a learning experience on a great weather day for deer hunting.
