Radio From All Over the World

I'm a big fan of listening to the radio and something exciting just started up that's blowing my mind.  Listen to over 8,000 stations from all over the world right here:

Just zoom into the map on where you want to hear a broadcast from and it will start playing.

You might be surprised to know there are over 1500 Top Level Domain names.    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_top-level_domains

 

That radio site is pretty cool. My geography is only so-so, I wish they would put borders on the maps. Was trying to find stations from my Polski motherland.

There are 10 stations in Warsaw alone.  This one is some kind of talk radio, I guess:

Must be overloaded.  No matter where I click on the globe, I get "station unresponsive" and it sounds like I'm tuning thru the lower end of the 40m band on my Swan 350

It's really a database and interface to all the streaming radio station sites around the world. You can go directly to specific website of any of them if you want to bookmark specific stations for periodic listening.

That said, it's a helluva graphic interface and database/link effort, obviously must somehow stay pretty much up to date, which is the real feat however that part is done. I'm impressed enough to add it to FireFox main address bar so it's right there all the time.
