Confused about TN gun climate.

Goodness... I can't believe how we are criminalized.  I am all for the "don't ask, don't tell" philosophy.  As 300winmag mentioned, you could be dismissed from work for something other than firearms, just because you own one.  I have experienced a different aspect of that in corporate America.... because someone knew I was an Instructor, they told management that I was scary to have in the department, and potentially a threat because I knew how to shoot well enough to take out the whole office.  They timed the complaint right after one of the mass shootings, and I was sent home and investigated for a month.  Someone wanted me out of the way for a completely different reason (not guns, wanted my project to fail), but they capitalized on the timing of the complaint against me.

My biggest mistake was talking about being a Pistol Instructor.
