Mammoth Sniper Challenge January 5-8

Recommended Posts

http://www.mammothsniperchallenge.com/index.html

This looks really interesting. I'm trying to get into long range shooting, but I haven't started yet. That said, I'm not going to participate in this event this year. But it may be a plausible endeavor for next year. Do any of you guys have any suggestions for gear? Or sources of education on range spotting and stuff? How does somebody practice/train for this type thing?

Also, I'm not sure I posted this in the right section. Feel free to move it or take it down if I didn't.
