Barrel re profile or flute

I've got a barrel that I need lightened. Tried to contact nefarious but haven't gotten a response in over a week. Really frustrating as I really like Marvin's dimpling work. So that leads me to ask you all, who do you recommend? The goal is lightening the gun but I'm not above admitting that I wouldn't mind some cool looking fluting.

Well, Nefarious contacted me back. Hoping i can work it out with them as I'd really like to have this gun done by them (him?). Stay tuned.

I remember reading something that Calfee wrote on barrel profiling and accuracy in true match barrels so I hit "google" for centerfire.  Here is a good discussion on the subject of profiling barrels after they have been rifled:  http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f19/does-fluting-affect-barrel-accuracy-93904/

Here is another thread, says get the barrel fluted and stressed relieved prior to rifling:  http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f19/barrel-fluting-post-build-affect-accuracy-11397/

Yea I've read varying opinions on the affects of fluting a barrel after rifling but it honestly doesn't concern me too much. I can sleep at night losing 1/2 moa or so for some weight savings. It's not an all out long range precision gun. It's a DD5V1 so it's a .308 with a rather short (16 inch) barrel. Its just too damned heavy for my liking. If Mega would have ever released their Maten sf, it wouldn't be an issue. But I think this will turn out pretty nice anyway by the time it's done.
